It’s Snowing in New York City!

Last week I had the good fortune to attend SXSW. Where the weather was a balmy 70+ degrees everyday.
I arrived back to NYC to continue working on my new record and writing new Christmas songs, and before I knew it – the entire city has quickly become a glorious winter wonderland.

I’ve been seriously concentrating on these latest records. It seems a greater force is offering environmental inspiration. Either that or I’ve been seriously channeling the snow fall through my Christmas songs. 😉

All kidding aside, I love Christmas. I also love my city. One other thing you might not know is that I seriously love breakfast foods. After spending a week in SXSW, I’ve grown very fond of breakfast tacos. Which I’ve learned is a quintessential Austin food group. I was really dismayed to find that breakfast taco’s are very hard to find in NYC. I’ve been relegated to freestyle my own breakfast taco’s. If there is an official food for this record – breakfast taco’s are certainly in the running! I should probably just have a Christmas styled breakfast taco on the next album cover!
