Dream come true. Thank you WLTW 106.7 LITE FM!
A true Christmas miracle happened tonight at 8:30PM EST. My palms are so sweaty, my heart is beating out of my chest and I am over the moon. A dream came true tonight. Thank you 106.7 Lite FM for playing “Christmas in the City”. A Christmas love song I wrote to this city that raised me, on the Christmas station I grew up listening to. Thank you to everyone for the last 3 years that have helped me get to this amazing milestone. To give you some perspective, WLTW is the top Christmas radio station in the United States. They only add 1-2 new songs a year and NEVER someone like me. But they did and for that I am forever thankful. I have to thank Missi Callazzo & Gabriella D’Agostino at MRI & Sony/RED for believing in me and my song, more than I did. I take nothing for granted and I hope that everyone finds their own Christmas song in their lives. Special thank you to Richard Nash, Philip Kent Kiracofe, Morgan Spurlock and my Failure Club friends who gave me the first shot to get over my fear of failure in the music business and Steve Lillywhite who encouraged me to keep going when I would fail and stumble. Thank you to my entire worldwide team and so many others for helping me bring “Christmas in the City” out from my heart into the world.
Last but not least, thank you to Andy Fraley, for believing me and in me when I said my dream was to write the best Christmas song and being there with me every step of the way.
What an amazing day.
